Join our French discussion group

on Wednesday from 10 am 

 

La Soupe du Jour organise every Wednesday morning a discussion group in French, from 10 am until 11 - 11:30 am.

 

What is it ?

The aim is to discuss in French on various subjects in order to give people an opportunity to practice French with a native French speaker. Subjects will be the news, the day to day life in France, the cultural differences etc.

 

Who is it for ?

Anyone who is fluent enough to have a basic conversation in French is welcome to join. No need to be an expert but a basic french conversation level is needed.

 

Let's be clear, it is not a French course, we are not teachers and will not try to teach you French. Of course, we will correct your sentences and your pronunciation but nothing else. 

 

This is a great opportunity to practice French in a nice environment, with a native French speaker.  Subjects will be chosen on the day.

 

Is it Free?

Yes, the group is free of charge, but we expect you to buy beverages on site to support La Soupe du Jour in its initiative.
